Brady doesn't want radio host fired over comments about his daughter.

Tom Brady might have just saved Alex Reimer's radio career at WEEI.

The New England Patriots quarterback abruptly ended his weekly radio interview with WEEI's "Kirk & Callahan" yesterday morning, due to comments made about Brady's 5-year old daughter by Reimer, who hosts another show on the Boston sports radio station.

Reimer described Brady's daughter, Vivian, as an "annoying little pissant" during a discussion about Brady's Facebook documentary series "Tom vs. Time." As a result, Reimer was suspended indefinitely and Brady reconsidered whether he'd appear on WEEI 93.7 fm in the future. That said, Brady doesn't think Reimer should be fired for his disparaging comments.

During the Super Bowl Opening Night in Minnesota on Monday, Brady was asked about the incident.

"I didn't hear too much about it. I didn't get into it much," Brady said at the Xcel Center, per ESPN. "I certainly hope the guy is not fired.

“We all have careers and we all make mistakes,” said Brady. “I’d hate for someone to have to change their life because of something like that. It’s certainly not what he intended.

“Any parent is protective of their kid,” he added. “I’ve never strayed away from criticism, that’s part of sports. But I don’t think my children or any other children deserve to be in that. That’s how I felt.”

Brady also added that he hadn't thought about whether he will conduct interviews with WEEI in the future, saying his focus has been on Super Bowl LII.
