It's been two weeks since Teyana Taylor released her second studio album, K.T.S.E which many are arguing in the best project to drop from the five week G.O.O.D Music album spree. It was the first project she released since 2014's VII and lived up to the expectations. Nas, Cardi B, SZA, Diddy, Fabolous and more have praised Teyana's work on the project. Now, the singer's latest project has helped her land her second album to debut in the top three on Billboard's Top R&B albums chart.
Teyana Taylor's K.T.S.E made a major debut on the Billboard's Top R&B Albums chart. K.T.S.E lands at number two on the chart which makes it her second consecutive album to reach the top five on the chart. VII debuted at number one on the chart. Her album was beat out for the top position by XXXTENTACION's 17 who passed away a few days before Teyana's album dropped. Teyana's album moved 23K within it's first week with 7K making up traditional album sales. Teyana's album also hit number 10 on the Top R&B/Hip Hop Album charts which makes it her second top 10 album on the chart.
Despite releasing her latest album two weeks a go, Teyana recently announced a joint project with Ty Dolla $ign. It doesn't seem like they've started the sessions yet but she did confirm that an entire project is "for sure happening."
