Avengers: Infinity War may be the most secretive movie ever filmed. Cast members were given false scripts, and some members were only given scripts containing their scenes. To take things even further, directors Joe and Antony Russo filmed certain scenes in secret, changed plot lines while filming to match their true vision, and filmed multiple deaths for characters who may not even die, just to keep things as classified as possible. With that level of dedication, it's no wonder that the actors that play main characters are still being revealed just weeks before the movie is set to debut.
In an interview with Radio Times, the Russo brothers revealed that a main member of Thanos' Black Order is played by Fargo actress Carrie Coon. "Carrie Coon is Proxima Midnight," reveals Joe Russo. "And you may know her from season 3 of Fargo or The Leftovers." The directors also divulge that Irish actor Tom Vaughan-Lawlor plays Ebony Maw and Terry Notary performs the motion capture for Cull Obsidian, who they claim doesn't really speak much in the film. "It's an all-star cast of baddies," states Joe Russo.
Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters April 27. The directors also speak about post-credit scenes and easter eggs in the interview. Check out the full discussion below.
