It's not often that you hear about a rapper from the Canadian prairies, much less a good one who gets a feature from Rich The Kid. Pimpton is just such a rapper. Although he hails from Regina, Saskatchewan, Pimpton sounds like he could be from Atlanta, New York or any other big rap city and on his song "Boppers," he's recruited Rich The Kid, who often contributes verses to surprising songs such as this one, to give him some genuine New York flavour.
The video for the song features Pimpton and Rich The Kid rapping in a boxing ring with video girls who not only dance, but also box each other, which is maybe how they do it in Saskatchewan. The only thing that truly belies Pimpton's Northern roots is a husky dog wearing some red sunglasses.
