Adding to his credits, 50 Cent is executive producing an animated series for Fox which is will be loosely based on his childhood.

Known nearly as well for his entrepreurial ventures as he is for his music, 50 Cent is now in talks with Fox to create an animated series that will be loosely based on his own childhood.

The yet to be titled project follows a precocious youth during his childhood, and apparently is about to be signed on for a pilot.  According to Deadline, the script was penned by Carl Jones and is described as “[following] a mischievous but well-meaning boy who often tangles with his eccentric family and neighborhood.”

Curtis will act as one of the executive producers on the animated series along with Randall Emmett.  The two are already working together as producing partners on Power, “a drama project about a criminally-inclined New York nightclub owner,” which is currently being developed on Starz.
