Migos end out the warmer months by celebrating the "Hot Summer."

Late in July, the Migos takeover was announced by DJ Durel at the beginning of their joint single "Hot Summer." Having worked with the trio for years, Durel knows a thing or two about what Takeoff, Quavo, and Offset have up their sleeves. The three have a formulaic approach to their music after having popularized a certain sound and launched Atlanta trap to the forefront of hip-hop music. While it was certainly a very hot summer in terms of the quantity of music we received, Migos stayed relatively quiet aside from their opening gig on Drake's tour, which is evidently a huge opportunity.

Regardless, they close out the warmer months with the release of their "Hot Summer" visuals today, going for vintage feels with '90s looks, glitchy VCR effects, giant boomboxes and dancing on top of a school bus. Bringing everyone back to their childhood, or a more luxurious version of it, "Hot Summer" is the perfect way to end the sunnier months as back-to-school season is in full effect.

The Migos previously released the sequel to their Culture project early this year and with Quavo dropping several songs as a solo artist, the direct future of the group is unclear. Hopefully, we see a few more Migos tracks before the year closes out.
