Nike's "Champions Think 16" Collection rolls on today with the release of Kevin Durant's fourth signature sneaker, the Nike KD IV. Like each of the sneakers featured in Nike's Champions collection, the kicks have a backstory that recalls one of the memorable moments of Durant's illustrious career.
Dubbed the "Battle Tested" Nike KD IV, the white and blue sneakers are inspired by the pair Durant laced up during Game 6 of the 2012 Western Conference Finals when, as a member of the Oklahoma City Thunder, he recorded 34 points and 14 rebounds to eliminate the San Antonio Spurs and advance to his first NBA Finals.
The commemorative kicks come with special NBA Finals detailign on the insoles, a crossed out "16" patch on the inside of the tongue and a gold Larry O'Brien trophy hangtag. The shoes, retailing for $140, are launching today via Nike SNKRS and select Nike retailers 10am ET.
