According to Smokepurpp, he's going to be featured on J. Cole's new album.

J. Cole got fans super hyped on Monday when he announced that he was dropping a new album this Friday (4/20) called K.O.D. The news surfaced following Cole’s special concert Monday night in NYC, where he gave some lucky fans a first listen to the upcoming album. Tidal’s BDot Miller, who was in attendance, informed followers that Cole appears to be experimenting with his flow more on this project and he believed the project was about 12 songs in length. He didn't reveal anything about features on the project, but it appears Cole might be doing something different this time around & could be calling on some assistance.

In the hours after the initial announcement was made, South Florida sensation, Smokepurpp, hopped on his social media & revealed that he’s going to be featured on the album. “I will be featured on J Cole’s album,” he said to his followers earlier tonight.

Purpp then confirmed the feature in another IG post, captioning it “BLESS YO TRAP #3 inn HIP HOP #4 ALL GENRES, BUT DONT LET IT DISTRACT YOU FROM THE FACT IM ON JCOLES ALBUM.”

It’s tough to tell if Smokepurpp is just trolling fans here, considering Cole never puts features on his albums, or if he’s telling the truth, but you can check it out for yourself (below). Would you want to hear Smokepurpp on Cole’s upcoming album or nah?
