It looks like Too Short might finally be in the clear after a woman accused him of raping her back in 2016. TMZ reports that the L.A. County District Attorney's office has rejected the case, citing insufficient evidence to make a case.
Teana Louis originally sued the Bay Area rapper claiming he sexually assaulted her multiple times between June and October of 2016. However, Short was adamant Teana made the whole thing up just to get into his pockets. In fact, the last we heard about the case was last month when Too Short provided several texts to the court allegedly proving his innocence and that the two engaged in consensual sex. In one of the texts, Short's accuser writes, "Baby I wish you were here right now, just talking to u on the phone makes me wet,” which obviously doesn't look to be the words of a rape victim.
As previously mentioned (above), the D.A. said there wasn't enough evidence to show she [Teana Louis] didn't consent to their sexual encounters, so they rejected the case.
We’ll keep you posted if anything changes, but for now it appears Too Short is in the clear with this allegation, which is great news.
