Between the lengthy sentence and the judge responsible for it, Meek Mill's recent stint behind bars has stirred nothing but controversy. Last week, news broke that a court clerk, Wanda Chavarria, tried to slip Meek a note in request for monetary aid for her son's tuition for his final year in college. In the note, she said that she had bad credit and was in dire need of financial help. Meek did not end up helping her but she believed it was worth a shot considering the two of them are Philly natives. However, it looks like this may be a bigger issue added to Meek's already complicated case.
Wanda Chavarria's note slip to Meek Mill has allegedly kicked off a formal court investigation, TMZ reports. After admitting that she did slip Meek mill the note, the court will be looking more in depth to what actually occurred. The sources close to the situation have said that judges and other personel's involved in the case are trying to get to the bottom of this. There's no word on what the repercussions may be but it likely won't end well for her.
Within the same day of this news breaking out, reports surfaced that said Judge Genece Brinkley, the judge who issued Meek the unfair sentence, has been demanded to hand over documents that may prove her bias during his probation violation case. Meek's lawyer, Joe Tacopina, has stated that the hearing in chambers was recorded and once those documents are released, it will prove Brinkley's bias which may ultimately be Meek's gateway to freedom.
