Joey Bada$$ is not here for any racial discrimination.

Joey Bada$$ was recently out in Asia with the crew, having a wild and entertaining adventure. Unfortunately for the talented All Amerikkkan Bada$$, the return flight didn't exactly sound like smooth sailing. In fact, Joey ultimately ended up accusing the airline of racial discrimination, and recounted his tale on Twitter. "So I’m boarding this #AmericanAirlines flight walking to my first class seat," writes Joey. "But before I get there I put my bag up (in the first class section obv) & one of the flight attendants goes “excuse me sir you can’t put your bag there that’s for our first class customers” AHAHAHA

He continues: "So I show her my ticket and the whole plane just laughs at her. Stupid bitch. @AmericanAir is the best airline for racial discrimination. This is why I’m #teamdelta @Delta" The airline actually responded to Joey's complaints on Twitter, promising to make things right. "Our customers should feel welcomed while traveling with us, we're going to have someone meet you at the gate once you arrive," wrote an American Airlines spokesperson, in response to Joey's disturbing allegations. The promise, however, seemed to be in vain.

"Be honest you guys said this just for Twitter. Didn’t see anyone waiting to meet me when I arrived," wrote Joey. "And even if there was, trust I wasn’t interested. But thank you anyway... for nothing."

It's not the first time that American Airlines was accused of racial discrimination. In October 2017, CNN reported that African-Americans and people of color were being warned against flying with AA, after incidents suggested "a corporate culture of racial insensitivity and possible racial bias." Not only that, but Marquis Teague and Trahson Burrell of the G-League basketball team Memphis Hustle had an unfortunate run-in with the airline as well.
