Xzibit is facing legal action over claims he falsely marketed the "Brass Knuckles" vape line.

According to a report obtained by TMZ, Xzibit has been slapped with a lawsuit for contaminating a Cannabis oil he helped put on the market. The plaintiff Ignacio Lee alleges that X's Brass Knuckles branded THC Concentrate Vape Cartridges are laced with pesticides. Lee claims that within months of using the product he began experiencing fatigue, headaches, nausea, chest pains, shortness of breath, wheezing and difficulty in breathing.

Ignacio was first alerted to the product by Xzibit's outreach to hip hop fans. Brass Knuckles has been predominantly marketed on Instagram and other Social Media outlets. X's campaign included an assurance "Our oil is clean," and a guarantee the product is "COMPLETELY pesticide AND contaminate FREE."

Aside from compiling a list of symptoms, Ignacio hired an independent lab to conduct a third party liability test, all before seeking legal council. The results of the testing revealed "detectable levels of pesticides." Therefore, Ignacio decided to advocate on behalf of the concerned, and all consumers touched by the case. He is never the less seeking a payout for his troubles, as well as an order prohibiting Xzibit from marketing his product as "contaminant free." By all accounts, the product has been a runaway success before this lawsuit came to light, with Xzibit increasing his distribution network in the month of March, we'll see to what effect.
