Whenever Star Wars memorablia that was used in the making of the classic trilogy hits the auction market, expect there to be a hefty price attached to the items. The original jacket that Harrison Ford wore as Han Solo in The Empire Strikes Back is hitting the auction block, and the rare piece of clothing is expected to fetch over $1.3 million.
According to The Telegraph, the million dollar auction will also offer several other blockbuster movie goods, such as the letter Rose wrote to Jack from Titanic, a Stormtrooper helmet from A New Hope, Marty McFly's hoverboard from Back To The Future Part II, and Hayden Christensen's lightsaber from when he played Anakin Skywalker in The Revenge Of The Sith. A small note to the fans, that lightsaber is the same one that has been in the middle of Kylo Ren and Rey's ongoing feud. Those are just a few of the items for sale, and the full list of collectibles is astounding. Brad Pitt's bathrobe from Fight Club, and Forrest Gump's Bubba Gump Shrimp hat, worn by Tom Hanks, are likely to sell for insane amounts of cash as well.
The Empire Strikes Back is considered the best Star Wars film by most fans of the franchise, so getting to rock Han Solo's jacket from the film would be a dream come true for millions of fans.
