"But my actin’ days are over," rapped Drake on the 2015 single "Energy." The cast of Hulu's hit series The Handmaid's Tale refuses to believe those claims though.
The author of The Handmaid's Tale, Margaret Atwood, shocked the world last summer when she proposed that Drizzy should feature on the series. During the Paley Fest in Los Angeles on Sunday, cast members of the series openly confessed that they would love for Drake to join the series, and they even suggested a list of roles that the Canadian-rapper could fill.
According to Vulture, Samira Wiley, who plays Moira on the show, suggested that Drake would make the perfect baby daddy to the shows main character, Offred. “Who would he play? Maybe Offred’s third baby daddy,” she stated. “They would [make cute babies]!” O.T. Fagbenle, who plays Offred’s husband Luke, was not crazy about the idea. “That’s not happening. My wife has been shared enough, thank you very much,” he stated, before offering an alternative. “He’s gonna play my brother, what are you talking about?! Isn’t that obvious? Luke’s brother, the singer, comes into Toronto. I mean, it writes itself.”
“I think Drake could be an Eye or a Commander or something. I’d be into that,” added Madeline Brewer, who plays the handmaid Janine.
Someone get Drake's agent on the line.
