Jordan Peele shocked the world when he released the epic thriller Get Out, and he is aiming to evoke the same emotion from audiences when he drops his latest film Us. Maybe he'll earn another Oscar nod as well. Peele first announced the film with a Rorschach test-inspired poster, and now, the talented filmmaker had revealed the cast for the film.
The all-star cast includes Black Panther buddies Lupita Nyong’o and Winston Duke, and Elizabeth Moss from Hulu's The Handmaid’s Tale. Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, who played the dancing villain Cadillac in The Get Down and will star as Black Manta in Aquaman, is also included in the cast. Anna Diop (who infamously deleted her social media after receiving hatred for her role as Starfire in DC's Titans), Tim Heidecker (who created the obscure Adult Swim comedies Tom Goes to the Mayor and Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! ), and Shahadi Wright Joseph (who is set to voice young Nala in the upcoming Lion King live-action film) appear alongside the main stars of the film as well.
Once again, Peele will be writing, directing, and producing the film. Us is slated to hit theaters on March 15, 2019.
