Back in December, it was reported that 31-year-old adult film actress, Yurizan Beltran, better known as Yuri Love, had been found dead in her Bellflower, California home. The cause of death was strongly suspected to have been from a drug overdose, as pills were found next to her in bed.
According to Complex, those suspicions have been proven correct, as the Los Angeles County Coroner has confirmed that Beltran's death was primarily caused by an accidental overdose to the perscription opioid, Hydrocodone. Hydrocodone is a pain-killing opoiod derived from codene. It's typically used to treat moderate to severe pain, as well as severe coughs.
The coroner also stated that a second major cause of Beltran's death was bronchopneumonia, an infection leading to inflammation of the lungs.
Beltran first started in the business at the age of 18, starring on magazine covers such as Penthouse, and eventually going on to do work for sites like Brazzers, Mofos, Hustler, and more.
Newsweek had previously reported that Beltran dabbled in heavy narcotics from time to time. Beltran's friend, photographer Nick Melillo stated that, "The adult business is rampant with drugs—especially crystal meth, because it’s cheap—and pills," later adding, "She had love all around her but she didn’t accept it. And that’s tragic story of most of these girls, like August Ames. Had love all around her—real love. So many people cared about her."
Beltran's death made the news just a week after another film star, August Aimes, had also been found dead in her home.
