After delaying his tour in favor of spending some extra time in the studio, Big Sean has been surprisingly quiet for much of the first half of 2018. While he's appeared on a few tracks, like YG's "Big Bank," we have not received his new album as of yet. Perhaps Kanye is sneakily working on a 7-song project for Big Sean? Whether or not Ye will have any work on Sean Don's next album, his project will be one of the most anticipated of the year given his status near the top of the game. Speaking with Billboard recently, Sean seems to reveal that he knows just how good he really is as he named himself among his top three Producer-Rapper combos of all time.
Of course, where would anybody be without believing in themselves? During the interview, Sean speaks about his involvement in Rémy Martin's Producers series, which led to him answering who his top 3 would be in a ranking of the best Producer-Rapper combos of all time. Including himself and Key Wane on the list, the Detroit native also named DMX & Swizz Beatz as well as, of course, the iconic pairing of Lil Wayne and Mannie Fresh. Your opinion obviously may differ from his but in my opinion, his ranking is pretty acceptable.
As we wait for any potential news on Sean's next album, you can read his full interview here to learn more about the Don himself.
