Jessie Reyez is back with "Fuck Being Friends."

Jessie Reyez just clinched two solid appearances on Eminem's Kamikaze. Beyond that, it's become clear the Toronto-born singer is on the fast track to becoming go-to choice for rappers seeking a jazz-singers' sultriness, let alone the driving force behind her solo career. Her latest single "Fuck Being Friends" is the fourth of its kind to express her doctrine on human relations. As Reyez so adequately states, sometimes it's better to stop the bleeding before the well dries out.

Reyez' upcoming EP now boasts several songs emblematic of the gender imbalance, this one less pointed than the other three. Her last single, "Body Count" Remix took control of that narrative by insisting upon a woman's place in controlling what happens with their body. Her two appearances on Kamikaze were part of a suite in which Eminem handily turned negative experiences into positive ones. Evidently, not everything Eminem spits hearkens back to Kim. Jessie Reyez is adamant about those boundaries, because she doesn't want to see it come to that.

Quotable Lyrics:

All up in my phone
I was doing better and you knew it so you called me
Then you start to feel again but you scared to fall, why’s that huh?
My pussy beat better than my heart do?
