In the heat of some choice words being spewed in PnB Rock's direction for missing his Cincinnati show over the weekend, the rapper has issued an apology and an explanation for where things went wrong. As upset fans attack the artist on Twitter without knowing the circumstances of his no-show on Saturday's Uptown West Festival, PnB Rock filmed a short video saying sorry for missing the performance and promising to make up for it. Set to headline the night's festivities, PnB Rock wrote that while he paid $15K to make it out to Cinci on time, police kept him locked up in a cell for 16 hours.
While the rapper did not say why he was locked up, he ended his video message with a "Fuck 12," ensuring his true feelings are known. Saying, "To all my fans in Cincinnati, you know what I'm saying, we making this date up. Sorry for the inconvenience, you know what I'm saying, but I hopped on the jet for y'all and that shit still ain't working." After spending 15 racks on a private plane, PnB was locked up for unknown reasons, forcing his show to be canceled at the last minute.
There is no word yet on when the make-up show will be held but the rapper has promised a return in the near future.
