While America dines on Seasonal Twinkies, UK rapper Octavian uses the day of rest to pinpoint his forward advance, simultaneously dropping a video single whilst announcing a new project for September 10. The South Londoner has created a quite a bit of intercontinental buzz through the success of one singles. With the help of local deejays and dub plate requests, Octavian has become the subject of a minor bidding war, just ask Drake who was filmed singing his breakout hit "Party Here" backstage at the Golden Globes.
"Revenge" is every bit the spiteful tale it promises to be. In the video, Octavian struggles to choose a preferrable picture frame, and settles for two at the modest price of one. The short run time doesn't appear to give him the desired early bird edge.
Perhaps Octavian wants to save his juice for the aforementioned Spaceman drop, which is set to include the likes of Suspect, A2, Swift, and Krimbo, as well as production from Lil Silva and Octavian himself. You never get another first chance to make an impression, ain't it so?
Quotable Lyrics:
If I buy a car I will shoot you in the face
They don't know me yeeeah
You be taking my place no way
