A standout from Skooly's "Don't You Ever Forget Me 3" project.

Skooly has once again proved his versatility on his latest project Don't You Ever Forget Me 3. On "Walk Back," he contrasts the many ballads on the project with a straight-ahead street rap track alongside one of subgenre's most consistent: Young Dolph. The track is as heavy and quotable as it needs to be, but also has a textural, atmospheric quality, with Skooly delivering dynamic vocals that he compliments with various effects. It creeps along at slow pace, almost resembling something Valee might put out, but also carries Skooly's unique melodic sense. When Dolph shows up, he brings his no-bullshit charisma and gives the track some of its most memorable lines. If you're coming to Skooly through 2 Chainz, this is a great entry point, but don't be shy to dive into his immense back catalogue of music that demonstrates his incredible ability both as a vocal stylist and a songwriter.

Quotable Lyrics:
Eat on her face then I eat at her waist
Now them bitches they callin' me Hannibal
Fuck up a Phantom
And I not even finished my dinner
This money is federal
