How big of a Marvel fan are you? I consider myself a pretty big fan, with over 50 years of comics sitting on a shelf. Do you go see the movies at midnight when they premier? Do you collect the action figures and follow all the actors like Chadwick Boseman and Robert Downey Jr. on social media? Well, all of your fandom (and mine) has been put to shame by a thief (or group of thieves) who stole the original Iron Man suit worn by Downey Jr. in the original Iron Man film.
To be clear, we are in no way praising thievery. The fact that someone was able to sneak into a prop house in Los Angeles and steal the suit is no joke. A little bit of awe and respect has to be given though, as this could not have been an easy task. As first reported by the Los Angeles Times, the $325,000 suit was being kept in a prop house in Pacoima, which was probably the first mistake. Officer Christopher No, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Police Department, stated that the suit went missing sometime between February and late April. An employee at the prop house just happened to check in on the suit recently, and found that it was missing. No other items in the warehouse have been reported missing.
