For those prospective individuals who are planning their upcoming nuptials, you may now be able to order a bouquet that is made from pizza; you heard it, pizza. Villa Italian Kitchen has created this odd wedding accessory, and is currently running a contest for future newlyweds to win a cheesy bouquet for their forthcoming trip down the aisle.
"We are so excited to kick-off wedding season with the launch of the world’s first Pizza Bouquet and Boutonniere," reveals Mimi Wunderlich, the director of communications and digital marketing for Villa Italian Kitchen. She continues to note how "these delicious floral accessories are perfect for pizza-loving couples looking to spice up their wedding with one-of-a-kind designs."
According to a press release, these bouquets and boutonnieres are created by New York-based food stylist Jessie Bearden. The arrangements are made from "freshly prepared pizza dough, 100 percent whole milk mozzarella, fresh California tomatoes, and zesty pepperoni," and are 100% edible. However, they may not seem so appealing after a long day of celebrations.
In order to be considered for this giveaway, an individual must be a resident of the United States and at least 18 years of age. The contest is only valid in the 48 continental states, so residents of Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico are unfortunately ineligible.
