The series everybody has been waiting for kicks off on Monday.

The Houston Rockets had the best record in the NBA this season and they'll have home court advantage against the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference Finals, but the defending champs are still the favorites to win the series.

OddsShark has listed the Warriors as -180 favorites to win while the Rockets opened at +160, meaning a $100 bet on Houston would return $160 if they dethrone Golden State. That said, the Rockets are currently favored by 1.5 points heading into Monday night's Game 1 at the Toyota Center in Houston, according to OddsShark.

According to ESPN, the series matches the two best offensive teams in the NBA. The Warriors have averaged 113.1 points per game in the regular season and playoffs combined, while the Rockets averaged 112.1. As a result, the Over/Under point total for Game 1 has been set at 224 points.

Whichever team comes out of this series will open as heavy favorites in the NBA Finals, as the Rockets and Warriors have the best odds to win it all of the four remaining teams. Golden State is -150 favorites to win the NBA title, followed by Houston at +240, then Cleveland +550 and the long shot Boston Celtics at +1600.
