TDE's latest signee Reason is looking to establish his foothold on the game. In the wake of dropping off a new single "The Light," Reason has continued to expand his portfolio with some new visuals for "Better Dayz." Immediately evoking memories of the posthumous 2Pac album Better Dayz, Reason does right by Pac's legacy, kicking things off with an evocative and powerful image of himself bleeding out from a head-wound; worry not, for he has retained the ability to rap.
Juxtaposed against the slow-zooming anchor shot is footage of Reason's day to day, as he navigates his home-turf with utmost respect. Aside from the subtle conceptual ideas brought forth by the image of a dying man, the clip remains rooted in West Coast traditionalism. In no way is that a detriment.
