Will-A-Fool rang in his first day in New York with style, linking up with us to go "Behind The Beat." Following our last installment with "Country Grammar" producer Jay-E, Will holds it down with an elaborate explanation of Future's "Show My Chain Some Love." You may recall the melancholic instrumental, which found the Super Slimey duo linking up for a lavish reflection on the merits of material self worth; if you love the man, you must in turn love his chain. "I was just networking trying to get my name out in the beginning," says Will, setting a tone. Given ATL's harmonious musical economy, it wasn't long before Future caught wind of the offer and stopped by accordingly.
Future eventually invited Will to the studio, making him swear to give him access to every beat on an exclusive level. "I didn't know at the time he was working on the Superfly soundtrack," says Will. Revealing his newfound program of choice as "Studio 1," Will explains that he employed use of a guitar lead synth to set the tone. "I wanted something under it to complement the sound," he explains, showcasing the pad he threw in for "that movie feel."
