Steve Harvey will be returning to hosting duties for Miss Universe 2018.

You'd think that after naming the winner of the biggest beauty pageant on earth, FOX wouldn't enlist Steve Harvey as the host of Miss Universe 2018 but that's clearly not the case. With the Miss Universe pageant coming soon, FOX has announced that Steve Harvey will return as the host this year.

Earlier today, FOX revealed that they'll be bringing the 2018 Miss Universe competition to Bangkok, Thailand. The competition is set to take place on December 16th.

Back in 2015, Steve Harvey screwed up immensely on national television after he announced Miss Colombia, Ariadna Gutierrez Arevalo, as the winner of the competition. Immediately after, he realized that he messed up on the announcement and revealed that Miss Philippines, Pia Alonzo Wurzbach was actually the winner of the evening.

Harvey acknowledged his screw up earlier today when he announced that he'd be returning as the host on Twitter.

"Yeah !!!! I’m back AGAIN!!!! Who will it be?........ tune in let’s find out together ... hopefully," he wrote followed by a laughing emoji.

After the screw up in 2015, he took to Twitter to apologize to both Miss Colombia and Miss Philippines.

"I'd like to apologize wholeheartedly to Miss Colombia & Miss Philippines for my huge mistake. I feel terrible."

We hope that he doesn't screw up again this year but if he does, it'll surely spark some great memes.
