Trippie Redd is no stranger to stirring up some drama. The man has been involved in a few beefs during his short career, most notably taking shots at Tekashi 6ix9ine after their previous "Poles" collaboration. With the release date for Life's A Trip nearing, fans are excited to hear the first full-length Trippie project in a minute. With a long tracklist already anticipated, we're hoping that the same issues don't arise from A Love Letter To You 2, which ultimately contained too much fat to trim before getting to the juicy parts. As the rollout continues, Trippie took to his Instagram story to reveal who he believes are the greatest artists of all time and his list may be divisive to some.
While some of his choices are universally agreed upon, like Michael Jackson, the Ohio artist opts for a few names that regularly don't make appearances on all-time lists, namely because they're still in their prime. Drake and Young Thug are two artists called out by Trippie that may turn some heads. When it's all said and done, both of them will likely hold spots on many people's lists with Drake being the more obvious choice due to his mainstream success as a crossover act. The final inclusion offered by Redd is Kurt Cobain, the frontman from Nirvana, before he adds, "Don't @ me."
Uninterested in debating with anybody, Trippie is certainly entitled to his opinion about who is the best. Maybe one day, he'll make his way onto an all-time list. Hopefully, his next effort proves that his seemingly endless potential can be tapped into to create great music.
