Another promising track in advance of her upcoming project.

Kodie Shane has released "TML," a new collaboration with Smooky Margiela. Standing for "Take My Love," the ballad-like track is a classic duet, with both artists singing as much as they rap, each of their voices drenched in syrupy auto-tune, putting a glossy sheen on their emotional verses. The song comes in advance of Kodie's upcoming album, which she gave an update on in July.

"So I been, like, trying to figure out the best way to let guys know what's been going on and why it's taken me so long to drop my music. Then I thought 'fuck it I might as well just talk to em,'" she said in a message posted to SoundCloud, revealing that through the process of recording her new music she's suffered through "heartache, heartbreak, depression, plus leaving [her] final teenage year behind." The good news is, it seems the album is complete: "Anyway, with all that being said, I'm sorry it's been so long and the wait is officially over." There's no release date just yet, but "TML" is another promising step.

Quotable Lyrics:
I was just being so stupid
You were just doing your usual
I'm just back on my bullshit now
I don't wanna hear this shit now
Baby, don't talk, just smile
