Morgan Freeman is one of the many prominent members of Hollywood that have been accused of sexual harassment in the last year. Freeman has vehemently defended himself, and his attorney has even contacted CNN about retracting the exposing article and issuing an apology to his client. Evidence of Freeman's flirtatious methods began to become a noticeable pattern in past interviews that resurfaced, but his actions were not enough to prove accusations of abuse.
On Tuesday, Suzanne Somers was a guest on Fox’s The Ingraham Angle show, and she defended Freeman. While touching on the riveting #Metoo movement, Somers stated, “Well, this probably won’t be real popular, but I think that women... I totally understand the Weinstein and Bill Cosby, that’s like, of course. But you know, like Morgan Freeman’s a big flirt." Somers continued on to claim that she knows Freeman well, and that she hopes that movements similar to #Metoo don't completely eradicate playful flirting. "I know him really well. He sees you and he’ll like your dress, and he’ll like your hair, he’ll like a lot of things," she explained. “I hope the dance doesn’t stop. It’s seduction, it’s flirting. All those things are really fun. So I hope there’s a way we can find a nice medium with that.”
