Gucci Mane recently announced a new compilation project for his Brick Squad crew, called Big Money Talk. Many fans were wondering if Waka Flocka would find his way on the project, as Gucci and Waka have recently been at odds, ending their working relationship.
GuWop seemed adamant that Waka would nonetheless be on the LP, no matter what it takes. In fact, he said the songs with Waka have already been recorded. But now Waka has responded to the possibility he'll be on Big Money Talk, and according to him, it's not gunna happen.
In a new interview with Mikey T The Movie Star (via HHDX) the BSM rapper denied he'll be on the LP, althoug he said he'll still listen to Chief Keef and Gucci's music.
"I ain't got nothin' to do with that [Big Money Talk] album," Waka said. "I'm Brick Squad Monopoly. I still listen to Chief [Keef's] music. Gucci [Mane's] music [is cool]—everybody's music, I just don't see myself making an album with that group. That ain't where I lay my [work at]." Waka Flocka added that his own compilation project is on the way, "Look out for the Brick Squad Monopoly album, family first."
