Lil Yachty is getting ready for more new music.

The past year has been major for Lil Yachty. He went from a buzzing rapper off of Soundcloud to platinum records and two albums that debuted in the top 5 of the Billboard 200. In less than a year, he released his debut album, Teenage Emotions and his sophomore release, Lil Boat 2. He's still constantly pushing out new singles and collaborations on a frequent basis but it looks like he might be getting ready to possibly release another project in the future.

Lil Yachty hit Twitter to announce that he'll be releasing a brand new single this week. Unlike some of his more recent efforts, he promised this one will be an "official release" which presumably means he'll be uploading it straight to streaming services. He's yet to reveal the title or any other producers but it should be interesting to see what he has in store.

While Yachty's grinding on his solo tunes, fans are still eagerly waiting for him to release his forthcoming project with Migos and Gucci ManeGlacier Boyz. Gucci Mane said that they're all putting the final touches on the project and they've recorded 15 tracks already. Hopefully, that sees the light of day soon.

Most recently, Lil Yachty dropped off two new tracks towards the end of June including a remix to Juice WRLD's "All Girls Are The Same" and his Valee collab, "Wombo."
