Depending on how you view Cardi B and her seemingly overnight rise to superstardom, the following is either terrible or amazing news. The current holder to the number 1 song in the United States has been rumored recently to be appearing on an upcoming remix to Juice WRLD's breakout hit "Lucid Dreams." Additionally, she wasn't the only one anticipated to be performing a verse on the track as fellow femcee royalty Nicki Minaj was set to join her. The rumors came shortly after cover artwork began to circulate but according to Cardi, as much as she would love to collaborate with the two, it's not happening at the moment.
Pop Crave tweeted out that Nicki and Bardi were going to be featured on a remix of Juice's hit song, which is currently sitting directly below "I Like It" on the Billboard Hot 100. While a version of the song with Lil Uzi Vert has been previewed, Nicki and Cardi's involvement was fresh. Unfortunately, the "Bodak Yellow" princess shut down the talk quickly, commenting on their page and writing, "Dope but it's not true." It doesn't mean that the trio won't work together in the future but for now, "Lucid Dreams" is keeping its original flavor intact. We can't say we're entirely surprised either after all of the perceived drama between Nicki and Cardi this year.
Other than Uzi, who do you think would strive on the remix?
