Bobby Brackins and Tinashe have a long collaborative history. Back in 2011, they teamed for electro-R&B banger "Cake," and later, Brackins would cowrite Tinashe's breakthrough single "2 On" in 2013. The two have reunited for a new single on Brackins' upcoming EP To Kill For, the sequel to his To Die For project. "Might Die Young" finds Brackins' synthetic west coast R&B-infused sound continuing to evolve, putting breathy vocals from Tinashe and Olivia O'Brien over filtered high hats, a big bassline, and of course, some snaps.
The song follows singles like "Big Film" with G-Eazy and Jeremih, "Whiplash 2.0" with P-Lo and Marc E Bassy, and "My Love" with Bassy again. To Kill For is expected to be released in the near future.
Tinashe is fresh off of releasing her long-awaited Joyride album earlier this year. She's recently been working with Hitmaka on some new material, including the singles "Like I Used To" and "Throw A Fit."
