Yet another Off-White x Nike Air Presto collab is scheduled to drop this Friday, August 3rd, but not everybody has to wait until then to get their hands on the pristine, all-white trainers. For instance, John Mayer received his Off-White Air Prestos well before the release and has already gotten them customized.
The shoes, retailing for $160, will release via Nike SNKRS as well as several other shops and boutiques such as Sneaker Politics, SneakersnStuff, Foot District, END and Nordstrom. Unlike the pairs that will be hitting retailers on Friday, Mayer's custom Air Presto features few hits of white, as everything but the midsole and laces has been given a cotton candy makeover.
According to Mayer, the special edition kicks are the brainchild of Elijah Funk and Alix Ross, aka @Onlineceramics, an apparel brand that specializes in tie-dye t-shirts and other retro graphics. Check out the tie-dye job in the post embedded below.
