It was fun while it lasted. Think of all the material he's given us. The merciless trolling efforts. The clowning of friend and foe alike, from Tony Yayo's foot fetish to A$AP Rocky's man-bag, to Ja Rule's ill-fated comeback. The memories have been grand, but as they say, all good things must come to an end. According to the man himself, 50 Cent will be leaving Instagram, moving on to the greener pastures of Twitter. As he explains it, the departure was brought on by Instagram removing some of his content without warning. Granted, having seen the post in question, it's no surprise.
In the announcement, 50 explains his decision. "I’m leaving IG, I’m going back to Twitter. They take shit down off my page with out notifying me. #censorthesenuts." To be fair, the post that led to this bout of censorship was clearly violating IG's terms and services; 50 basically posted a screencap of Tia Maria's sex tape, or more specifically, the aftermath.
Needless to say, the post was extremely NSFW, and given IG's stance on pornographic material, it's not exactly shocking to see them take action. Despite the justification, it would appear that the move was the breaking point for Fif, who seems content to relocate the next chapter of his trolling career.
Goodnight sweet prince.
