Disclosure resurfaced from a self-imposed hiatus with "Ultimatum." The duo is back with another single entitled "Moonlight." The percussion-heavy track is a kind of reimagining of The Real Group's "When I Fall In Love." The acapella recording made it easy for the producers to sample the vocals over the pulsing synth lines. The 4-part harmonizes are painted throughout the whole song.
The artists dished about their process, which seems to be similar to that of their last release.
"'Moonlight' was written and arranged at Guy’s house, sampling Swedish acapella group "The Real Group's cover of the classic 'When I Fall In Love." We wanted to bring some Disclosure deep house chords and basslines to the forefront.”
Vocals had inspired their last track "Ultimatum."
“A few months ago, we stumbled across an amazing female vocalist named Fatoumata Diawara. While digging through her discography we discovered this beautiful sample and started messing around, having fun and experimenting with it.”
