Lonzo weighs-in on the FBI's NCAA investigation.

Los Angeles Lakers rookie point guard Lonzo Ball is one of the many people out there who think college athletes should get paid. Ball was asked about the topic today following a Yahoo Sports report that outlined several top programs and players who named in the FBI's investigation into corruption of college hoops.

Among the players named in the report was Ball's rookie teammate, Kyle Kuzma, who allegedly received at least $9,500 while attending the University of Utah, according to the documents.

When asked about the FBI's probe into the corruption of the NCAA and whether college athletes should be paid, Ball told NBC Los Angeles' Shahan Ahmed, “I do. All the money they generate for the programs & stuff, it’s kind of an unfair system...Everybody knows everybody’s getting paid & that’s how it is. Everybody’s getting paid anyway. You might as well make it legal. That’s how I feel."

Kuzma did not meet with reporters today but Ball had this to say when asked how his teammate was dealing with the report, per NBC LA, "(Kuzma)'s in the NBA now. He really don't [sic] care, so whatever happened was in the past. Now, he's living life."

According to the report, the documents and bank records detail how former NBA agent Andy Miller and his agency, ASM Sports, paid high school and college prospects as well as their families. The investigation turned up expense reports and balance sheets that list cash advances, in addition to entertainment and travel expenses, according to Yahoo Sports.
