Zaire Wade is fast becoming an NBA prospect.

Dwyane Wade's pictured above as a mere child, has grown to be a serious high school basketball prodigy. Back in April we posted footage of father and son trading lobs in a private scrimmage, a video which seem to confirm the Flash had a bit of gas left in the tank. This time around, the focus is solely on his son Zaire who is entering his junior year of high school ball.

The 16-year-old is taking part in Miami Pro-Am play alongside NBA players such as Hassan Whiteside, Tim Hardaway Jr. and Detroit Pistons' center Andre Drummond. Zaire more than held his own while his father Dwyane sat in attendance. The video below shows young Zaire loading up on Knicks' swingman Hardaway, with a step back floater. As Zaire waltzes back on defense the announcer can be audibly heard announcing his basket under the auspicious nickname of "Young Flash."

Zaire is perhaps a year or too away from his college recruitment phase, but hitting shots over seasoned pros should advance him in the 5 star ranking system, should he continue down this path. His initial SportsCenter coverage is obviously a case of nepotism, his father being a legend in the game. It stands to reason how well NBA offsprings are faring under the tutelage of their famous parents, Zaire is no exception.

Zaire's side won a hard fought contest 99-97.
