The Art Of Rap Festival's lineup is a hip-hop head's dream.

On the heels of the dope Summertime In The LBC lineup announcement, The Art Of Rap festival comes through with another batch of storied veterans sure to please experienced hip-hop heads. The Ice-T & Mick Bentson helmed concert has already booked over a dozen artists, many of command plenty of respect in the game. For example, we're looking at Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, KRS-One and EPMD, Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, Big Daddy Kane, Eric B. & Rakim, Naughty By Nature and more. If Rae, Ghost, and Bone-Thugs weren't enough to win you over, Ice-T himself is leaving the Special Victims Unit to hold it down as a headliner.

In true hip-hop fashion, ample spotlight will be shone upon those practitioners of the essential elements; graffiti, b-boying, and DJing will be prominent on festival grounds. Co-Founder  Mick Bentson spoke to HipHopDx about the festival, stating “the Art Of Rap cares about break dancers, graffiti artists, MCs and DJs."

He continues, revealing the most noble of mission statements. “So while people are alive, The Art Of Rap will have you on the show. It’s not just for the classic artists. It’s for the art of rap — from beginning to today. The Art Of Rap is for the culture of Hip Hop. For those who really want to relive the times they remember this music and bring those who don’t understand this music, The Art Of Rap is the place to go.”

The festival is set to transpire this year, and while the date has yet to be announced, we'll keep you posted.
