This time, he's serious. Jacquees previously hinted that his EP This Time I'm Serious would be dropping on February 16 but it was pushed back and he has announced a new date that we can all look forward to. A new post on his social media suggests that he will be dropping the project on March 2, one week from today. His long-awaited debut album 4275 is likely to follow the release of the upcoming EP as the singer is gearing up for a big year.
The fake release date may have just been a marketing ploy to plug the title of the EP, which claims that he's no longer playing around. It could be a stretch but sometimes, things line up too perfectly. The EP is set to feature T-Pain and Wale and will be six songs long.
In the post, Jacquees previews the expected third track on the EP, "Handcuff," in a studio session where he's visibly feeling the track. We can't lie, it sounds like a proper R&B hit with the Atlanta singer hitting some nice melodies in an ad-lib track and the main vocal sounding smooth.
Jacquees has been teasing this project for a while, even hinting at it when we met up with him last year. Check out the IG post below for a quick preview, as well as our interview with the artist and his freestyle session to pump you up for the upcoming drop.
