The legend of Tupac continues to grow as his estate has been moved to new management where it is reported they will work on releasing some previously unheard and unfinished tracks as they move to Jampol Artist Management.
Currently managing the likes of The Doors, and Michael Jackson’s estate, Jampol will be working with Tom Whalley, an executive who was integral at the beginning of Tupac’s career with Interscope.
In a statement, Pac’s mother, Afeni Shakur said the focus is to have all previously unreleased recordings released, and for his legacy to continue to be appreciated by generations to come, “I believe it is our responsibility to make sure that Tupac's entire body of work is made available for his fans...My son left many incomplete pieces and even more unfinished ideas. Using the blueprints he gave us, I am committed to fulfilling this duty...[we] will find innovative ways to continue to keep his music, his message, and his legacy alive."
Echoing her statement, the founder and president of Jampol, Jeffery Jampol said, “It's our responsibility - and our privilege - to ensure that new generations of fans experience the power ofTupac's music, his ideas and his storytelling."
