Drake's back in music mode from what we could tell. Over the weekend, he dropped two new singles and shortly after, revealed he was back in the studio working on more music. It might be a while until we get a full album from him but by the looks of it, he has some collaborations and singles to let loose. However, like most Drake albums, he usually dabbles with new sounds and genres. He's gone down the dancehall route with his past two records but the next thing for him might end up being reggaeton.
Drake was recently spotted in the studio with reggaeton artist, Bad Bunny. The two of them shared clips of each other on their social media platforms which made many assume a collaboration in the works. Neither have confirmed this but considering Drake's appreciation for music outside of hip hop, this seems very possible.
In a clip shared by Drizzy, he does his best attempt at speaking Spanish before one of Bad Bunny's songs start playing which may likely be the joint the two of them are on together.
Drake's been back on his feature game lately. Before the end of the new year, he reunited with Lil Wayne for a freestyle over Jay-Z's "Family Feud." He was also supposed to have a joint with Trippie Redd which was rumored to be "God's Plan" but that didn't end up happening. However, Redd was spotted with Drake's producer, 40, recently so he might have wrapped up another collaboration. On top of that, it's also been confirmed that Drake is set to appear on Migos' upcoming Culture II album which drops later this evening.
Overall, it looks like we'll be getting a lot more Drake music this year.
