Recent GOOD Music signee Valee has proved to be one of the most influential rappers of 2018, quietly inspiring a number of flows. One of his verses that has been imitated recently is "Two 16s," a collaboration with fellow Chicagoan Z Money earlier this year. It's one of a couple collaborations from the like-minded rappers that has solidified their chemistry, so it was only right that Valee return on a track from Z Money's new project Chiraq Mogul. "Still Got Money" finds the two emcees passing the mic back and forth, riffing on similar rhythms but each maintaining their own singular voice. Valee has an understated but extremely stylish presence, while Z Money is more loose and unpredictable. It's a great dynamic that could be further explored on a joint project, something we'd love to see happen somewhere down the line.
Z Money's new project also features guest appearances from G Herbo and Key Glock. Listen to the full tape here.
Quotable Lyrics:
Still got money from high school
I'm no dummy
This yellow bone bitch want me
I put it in her tummy
I buy expensive undies
