XXXtentacion passed away two weeks ago. To this day, the police investigation dealing with the rapper's murder is still in process. On July 3rd, the Broward Sherriff Offices officially stated that Robert Allen, who is identified as a person of interest in the investigation, is already wanted. A felony warrant for the 22-year-old has been issued for his violation of a probation agreement. Allen was allegedly in possession of PVP, a synthetic drug known as "flakka" in the streets. On top of this warrant, the Broward Sheriff’s Office homicide detectives continue to search for the young man in relation to the XXXTentacion murder case. Although Allen is a person of interest, he has not been identified as a suspect in an official manner.
One suspect has already been arrested for the fatal shooting. Dedrick Williams, who is also 22-years-old, has been charged with second-degree murder. He has been identified as the alleged driver of the car that held the two other suspects. The pair would have then exited the car and one or both individuals would have shot the victim. The two are said to have left the scene with a stolen Luis Vuitton bag. US marshals have been enlisted to track down the two outstanding suspects.
XXXtentacion's burial took place on June 28th. An open-casket service was held before then, allowing fans and those who loved him to share their goodbyes.
