Kendrick is calling dibs on a cameo if the "Black Panther" sequel goes into production.

Clandestine talks may be occuring with a proposed Black Panther sequel on the table. Conjecture or not, this hasn't stopped actors and media personnel from calling their shot in the air, and for the record, Kendrick wants in too.

During an exclusive interview with the BBC that aired on Thursday, Kendrick opened up about his curatorial experience within the Black Panther project. He spoke highly of the team and had this to say about the exceptional status of the film:

“We’re talking about timeless films and things that are going to curate after this film. When we got to the music, I just wanted to make sure that I could complement that and be a part of it in the best way I could.”

Kendrick specified which type of character he'd like to play if he got the nod:

“I really enjoy Killmonger's character, just off the simple fact that he was a villain but he came with some real... He was a villain but he was loved and misunderstood. So if I could, I'd play a Killmonger for sure.”

Stay tuned for an announcement. Marvel would be hard pressed not to follow up on the film's record-breaking run of success.
