The students are speaking up for change.

The student survivors of the deadly attack on Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, which left 17 dead in the most devastating school shooting in U.S. history, have been very vocal about the need for legislative change. Emma Gonzalez, Cameron Kasky, and Jaclyn Corin were invited on to the Ellen DeGeneres Show to speak about gun control, especially in the wake of this massacre that will forever impact their lives. Throughout the interview, the students address topics such as the loss of loved ones in the tragedy, the need for policy change to impede further acts of violence similar to what they've experienced, as well as the widespread notion that they are "crisis actors."

The teenagers reveal that they are not opposed to guns, but would like to see stricter regulations on semi-automatic rifles and their ancillary accessories that enable the firearms to act like automatic weaponry, which are illegal.

Addressing the notion that the students are "crisis-actors" with an intent to promote a leftist agenda, Kasky jokingly admits that his time spent in youth theatre will effectively squash any claims about his acting ability.

The three activists then began to discuss the march they've organized, which will be taking place on March 24 in Washington D.C., as well as other participating cities across the nation. Ellen revealed that Shutterfly has donated $50,000 to "March for Our Lives," before urging viewers at home to participate in the event and promote an essential change for the better of all Americans.
