It was earlier this week that Top Dawg Entertainment's SiR unleashed the visuals to his ScHoolboy Q-assisted "Something Foreign," and now the West Coast imprint has revelaed yet another surprise for the crooner's fans.
In an Instagram post in which a snippet of the video was posted to the TDE Instagram page, the caption also read out, "1/19/18," in what may be an apparent nod toward the release date of SiR's major studio debut album.
It was earlier in the year that TDE announced the official signing of SiR to the label, ushering in a new era for the artist who, just as any of his contemporaries, found great success in the era of the Internet.
"TDE is the first group of artists to really shift things where people have to look at Cali different," the Inglewood singer note in an interview. "I’ve been listening to those cats for a long time. If I were ever to pull influence from anything, I would definitely pull from those cats. Their work ethic and their sound is just so unique. I felt like if I were to go anywhere that would be the best place for me to be able to expand creatively. So I wanted to be around artists who would motivate me to try harder. That’s my biggest thing -- motivation."
