Drake is bound for success with everything he does in music, despite what people think. Throughout this year, he's steadily crushed several records on the Billboard charts and streaming services. His latest album, Scorpion is no exception. The Toronto artist's latest album went platinum within the same day it was released which isn't shocking considering the success of the lead singles, "God's Plan" and "Nice For What." As his latest project reached the RIAA achievement, it's another plaque that he could add to his collection.
Drake continues to collect platinum plaques with every single release and his latest album is no exception. According to chartdata, every one of Drake's albums is certified platinum or higher. At this point, Drake has released five official studio albums since making his formal introduction to the game in 2009. Drake's definitely had a good run and despite what people say, the stats are showing that Drake's reign is far from finished.
While the masses are predominantly consuming the project through streaming services like Apple Music, Spotify and TIDAL, Drake has reportedly set a date for fans to cop the physical copy of the release. It was reported this weekend that he'll be giving fans to cop an official hard copy of the double disc album on July 13th. Hopefully, he'll be coming through with a vinyl print of the album in the future as well.
