Ghostface links with some hip-hop legends for new "Lost Tapes" single.

Fresh off the announcement of his upcoming The Lost Tapes album, produced in its entirety by Big Ghost, Ghostface Killah has rolled through with the lead single. Luckily, he's tapped a few notable legends for the co-sign. Snoop Dogg, E-40, and L.A. The Darkman all play a supporting role in the endeavour, taking to the Big Ghost instrumental with experience befitting of their stature. While we've previously heard the Doggfather dabble in Shaolin style, notably on The W's conditioner, it's always nice to see him trading verses with an emcee of Ghost's caliber.

Likewise for E-40, who closes this one out with some exuberant braggadocio. "Guard at the gate, live in a mansion," raps E-40, "rap career longer than an extension!" He proceeds to switch up the flow, proving once again that the sauce is truly ageless. As for Ghost, you already know he murdered the instrumental, bringing forth his trademark blend of street lingo and imaginative, borderline outlandish imagery. In truth, he may be one of the game's most original lyricists; it's wonderful to have him back.

Quotable Lyrics

An ounce of the blueberry, big bottle of Titos
Count the plaques on the wall, like I sing for the Beatles
Went from label to label, changed my name to Clark Gabel
Tony Starkaroni probably fucked your aunt Mabel
